Dry Ice Blasting in Tecumseh

Tecumseh is in the heart of automotive Windsor-Essex. ODIB cleans automotive plants, parts manufacturers, food processors, marine equipment and commercial buildings in Tecumseh and across the surrounding region from a single mobile crew. No water, no chemicals, no abrasive media — we clean in place and your line is back in production the same shift.

Built for Tecumseh’s industries

Most of our Tecumseh work is in automotive and adjacent manufacturing. The area is full of Tier 1 and Tier 2 parts suppliers feeding Stellantis, the growing EV battery and advanced manufacturing operations, and a strong food and beverage cluster.

  • Automotive parts manufacturing — stamping, weld cells, assembly lines
  • EV battery line cleaning — robotics, busbars, structural steel, fixtures
  • Food and beverage — packaging, processing, bottling lines
  • Plastics and packaging — molds, conveyors, extrusion lines
  • Marine — Lake St. Clair and Detroit River
  • Restoration — fire, smoke, brick and historical work

Why it works

For automotive and EV plants the choice usually comes down to three things: no moisture near energized equipment, no abrasive on weld tips and tooling, and no shutdown long enough to dismantle the line. Dry ice solves all three at once. For food processors, the CFIA-compliant, no-residue process is the decision-maker. For marine, no abrasive in the water and no haul-out is the point.

Same-week scheduling

Tecumseh is 45 minutes from our Wallaceburg base — well inside same-week scheduling for planned work and within 72 hours for restoration emergencies. We can also accommodate planned shutdown windows on holiday weekends or model changeovers.

Service area

From Tecumseh we cover Windsor, LaSalle, Amherstburg, Lakeshore, Belle River, St. Clair Beach, Stoney Point and the rest of Essex County.

FAQ

Do you work in EV battery plants?

Yes. Dry ice is non-conductive, non-abrasive and adds no moisture — exactly what battery line equipment needs. We work the equipment around the cells (robotics, fixtures, structural steel, busbar dust) and integrate with your ESD and safety procedures.

Can you handle automotive weld cells while energized?

Most weld cell hardware needs to be de-energized for cleaning per your safety procedure — but no disassembly, no rinse, and no abrasive. A typical 6-station cell cleans in 2–4 hours during planned downtime.

Are you insured for automotive plant work?

Yes — $5M general liability plus WSIB. We send a certificate of insurance with every quote and can name your plant as additional insured on request.
